WHAT IS CAM’S SAFE USE AND INSPECTION OF LADDERS COURSE?
CAM Specialist Support offer The Ladder Associations safe use and inspection of ladders course.
All users, supervisors and managers wanting to equip themselves with the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to use ladders and step ladders legally and safely require The Ladder Association course.
Under the working at height regulations every person in the chain leading up to, and including, the final user, has a duty of care to both themselves and others to know and understand the practical implications of working safely at height. Health and Safety - Working at Height regulations are now actively enforced by local authorities to reduce accidents as a result of a fall from a ladder.
This one day course addresses the issues raised by the HSWA 1974 and the WAHR 2005.
To enable the user to select appropriate work at height equipment for a task, access and determine when it is appropriate to use ladders & stepladders, correctly locate, safely use and inspect ladders & stepladders for damage.
Delegates will take a two part, written and practical, test. On successful completion of the course delegates receive a Ladder Association Certificate and ID card valid for 5 years.
