Cleanability Audit
WHAT IS CAM’S CLEANABILITY AUDIT?
Cleanability Audits encompass all aspects of cleaning a property and ensure cost efficient best practice is observed throughout the cleaning process. They allow property managers to effectively monitor the financial, environmental, and health and safety aspects of cleaning buildings and surrounds.
CAM Specialist Support Cleanability Audits are based on the standards outlined in the British Cleaning Association (BCA) Cleanability Awards scheme and relevant Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance.
Cleanability Audits begin at design stage, in consultation with the client and architects. They are then carried through the construction of the building in the Construction (Design & Management) 2007 (CDM) pack and into the commission and use of the building.
We share the vision of the BCA, Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), and Charted Institute of Architectural Technologlists (CIAT) that all new build projects should have a site specific, measureable and achievable Cleanability Audit at the heart of the CDM project management and costing process.
